Nurse Oluchi did a stllar job of presenting us with valuable tips on how to enjoy a fuller life by staying healthy via simple steps.
Information was provided on free mammogram screening in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain:
The Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) has launched a free mammogram screening at all of their Abu Dhabi and Al Ain healthcare centres. According to SEHA’s call centre – 80050 – mammograms will be free for women between the ages of 40 and 60.
Ramadan is a period of fasting and spiritual growth and is one of the five “pillars of Islam” It is an important time for Muslims all over the world as it is a time for them to grow spiritually and build stronger relationships with Allah.
MTW is a multicultural and diverse group as such we gathered together for Iftar.
The event was held at the Abu Dhabi Country Club and we had a total of seven attendees. There was a large spread of various delicacies which all the guests indulged in. There were lots of laughs and banter. Gift boxes were made to thank all the attendees for coming.
Attendees came dressed as notable women in society such Chimamanda Adichie, Ellen Johnson, and as themselves for being phenomenal in their areas of expertise.
One of our members shared a presentation highlighting the team of the year, which brought about insightful discussions among the women.
Games Played
We did introductions and an ice breaker games which helped us know ourselves better. We went on to brainstorm on what goals were and how to categorize them.
Vision Board Creation: Magazines and cutouts were made available as well as boards and other stationery. We had loads of fun sticking on visual representations of what we wanted on our boards.
We enjoyed some yummy food and networked. Took great pictures and the women went home with their goodie bags.
